Submerge hard-boiled eggs in different drinks (like soda, coffee, or juice) to simulate tooth staining. After a set time, let children use toothbrushes and toothpaste to try and clean the “stains” off the eggs, observing how different drinks affect teeth.

Toothpaste Texture Exploration
Use different types of toothpaste (gel, paste, powder and flavors) and allow children to explore and take small taste of different types of toothpaste. They can use their fingers, spoons or toys that will rinse to play and mix toothepastes together. Add water for sudsy fun!
Brushing Timer Challenge
Set timers for the recommended two-minute brushing time. Let children play in different ways during the two minutes to get an idea of how long they should be brushing.
