DIY Christmas-themed Sensory Experiences

  • Winter Scavenger Hunt and Decorating

    Let kids find pinecones and greenery, then paint theme or use glue and add sprinkles for a festive touch. They can also use found objects to do paint stamping.

  • Christmas Cookie Dough

    Use edible cookie dough (no eggs) and let toddlers roll, squish, and cut out shapes. Use things like cookie cutters, sprinkles and peppermint extract to expand the fun!

  • Christmas Ornament Sink or Float

    Fill a large bowl with water and provide a variety of plastic ornaments, bells, and holiday items. Let children guess which items with sink or float.

  • Wrapping Paper Rip & Wrap Station

    Provide different types of holiday wrapping paper as well as objects they can wrap. Kids can rip, tape and wrap to their way to Christmas fun!
